About Us

Helping individuals with Autism to become productive members of their communities. Assisting in their transition to adulthood through providing available resources in a nuturing way.

When you give to Foothill Autism Alliance, you know your donation is making a difference. Whether supporting one of our Resource Meetings or our carefully developed Social Events, we will utilize your investment to create an outstanding learning and experiential event with our goal of fostering independence.

Our Vision: A world in which individuals and families affected by autism are empowered to fulfill their individual potential and participate in society to the fullest extent possible. The Foothill Autism Alliance was founded in 1998 by a group of parents in Glendale, Burbank, Pasadena, and La Canada who wanted to share resources and provide information and support for the ever-increasing number of families in the area whose children were being diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders. Since its founding, the FAA has become a California non-profit corporation, whose Board of Directors is comprised of both parents and professionals. The FAA, an all-volunteer organization, hosts a variety of events including monthly Family Resource Meetings, workshops, lectures, and social functions. Each month, noted professionals in the field of autism generously give of their time and speak at the Family Resource Meetings.

Over 20 Years of Experience

We partner with expert professionals in the Autism field worldwide to bring you the most cutting edge information, and have presented a wide array of resource meetings and events.

The Foothill Autism Alliance continues to work to improve the lives of individuals on the autism spectrum and their families by supporting research
and providing resource meetings, supports and services, and working closely with the entire community.

Volunteers are passionate about helping people reach their full potential in their communities.

If you're too busy to volunteer or donate your time, giving money is the perfect workaround. Never think that you can't improve someone's life or the world itself if your personal or professional schedule won't allow the time. Writing out a check is a simple way to show you're willing to help others in any way you can.
