Helping individuals on the Autism Spectrum become productive members of their community by bringing you resources in the area of self empowerment, workforce development, relationship and intimacy and independence. We strive to help develop individuals to bcome productive members of their communities.

Our Vision A world in which individuals and families affected by autism are empowered to fulfill their individual potential and participate in society to the fullest extent possible. The Foothill Autism Alliance was founded in 1998 by a group of parents in Glendale, Burbank, Pasadena, and La Canada who wanted to share resources and provide information and support for the ever-increasing number of families in the area whose children were being diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders. Since its founding, the FAA has become a California non-profit corporation, whose Board of Directors is comprised of both parents and professionals. The FAA, an all-volunteer organization, hosts a variety of events including monthly Family Resource Meetings, workshops, lectures, and social functions. Each month, noted professionals in the field of autism generously give of their time and speak at the Family Resource Meetings.

Your Support Helps Us Help Others

We partner with amazing professionals in the Autism field worldwide, and have presented our dynamic suite of Resource Programs.

The Foothill Autism Alliance continues to work to improve the lives of individuals on the autism spectrum and their families by supporting research
and providing resource meetings, supports and services, and working closely with the entire community.

Volunteers are passionate about helping people reach their full potential in their communities.

Everyone loves to spend time with friends and family. Volunteering helps extend your family and circle of friends.9. Give, If You Can't Volunteer or if you're too busy to donate your time, giving money is the perfect workaround. Never think that you can't improve someone's life or the world itself if your personal or professional schedule won't allow the time. Writing out a check is a simple way to show you're willing to help others in any way you can.
